Winnie’s collection for her Senior thesis is inspiring. Bubbly, mature, and irresistible. Harkens to an era of Jackie O sensibility with a child’s color palette. Seriously fun.

I had the unique opportunity to photograph Parsons’ student Bezanne Lau’s final project. Bezanne came to me needing help with the photos of her work. Her designs flow, often made of light material, painterly, ethereal – and she wanted to capture that. It was a lot of fun watching the cloth react to the model’s movements and when we added wind. Below are one of the images from the shoot followed by her line sheet. I’m looking forward to seeing Bezanne’s work again. Thank you Makeup artist Jessica Fermin amd model Shannon.

Do you remember playing with your Hot Wheels cars and Tonka Trucks? I remember mine. I remember one had that sports car orange. Silver rims. We’d make a city in the dirt and rocks. Nice to know some things haven’t changed.

Grand Prize winner Christopher Auger-Dominguez submitted images from a personal series on child actors. This is a portrait of twin actors Josie and Lucy Gallina having fun at the Coney Island Boardwalk. They play Emily Schroeder on HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”.

We had a great time on set today shooting a “Moves Like Jagger” inspired fashion shoot. Model Scarlett and Makeup Artist Rashida Bishop made an incredible team. Photos to be posted soon.
